When asking this question, let's first understand the characteristics of ultrasonic. Many customers think that their factory can make very complex plastic mold. The ultrasonic mold looks so simple, of course, they can make it by themselves?



Do not simply think that ultrasonic mold can be made at will, remember! If there is no ultrasonic professional manufacturers and testing equipment, the mold made by gourd gourd gourd gourd ladle will only bring you serious losses. Every set of ultrasonic mold should use oscilloscope, function signal generator, The acoustic impedance analyzer is used to check whether the ultrasonic frequency of the ultrasonic mold is normal, whether the waveform is normal, whether the acoustic impedance is small, and whether stress concentration will occur. These are all factors that must be considered. If the ultrasonic mold you make is not subject to professional testing, it will only directly damage the ultrasonic welding equipment.


What material is better for making ultrasonic mold?


Ultrasonic welding requires metal materials to have good flexibility (mechanical loss is small in the process of acoustic transmission), so the commonly used materials are aluminum alloy and titanium alloy.


Material is one of the main reasons for the service life of ultrasonic mold and fusion products. The process of die completion is complex, so die engineers need to carefully select materials when designing, and also need to know what materials are required for their products, so as to avoid affecting their effectiveness and quality due to negligence.


The current characteristics of each material are outlined as follows (all products of alcol are adopted by Lingke company, and its 7075t651 aluminum material meets the standards of American Aluminum Industry Association):


1. Aluminum magnesium alloy (7075t6512024t6516061t651):


(1) 7075t651: used in vibration system and welding head manufacturing. The material has high mechanical yield strength, high hardness and strong heat conduction. It is an ideal material for ultrasonic mold manufacturing;


(2) 2024t651: general use and welding head manufacturing, good toughness, strong heat conduction, moderate hardness, used for general plastic products;


(3) 6061t651: it is used for the manufacture of welding head with low output, good toughness and soft quality.


2. Titanium alloy:


It is used for continuous vibration generation with high toughness, good heat conduction, high hardness and high cost.


3. Domestic hard aluminum alloy:


Domestic material, used for ordinary aluminum processing, low heat conduction, high mechanical loss to ultrasonic wave, low cost.
